The M.Sc. program is jointly offered by NCHMCT and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at select Institutes of Hotel Management. The program is specifically focused on the service sector unlike the majority of MBA programs which are general in nature. The program blends classroom pedagogy and andragogy by combining classroom learning with group activities, industry mentorship, and tutorials.
The M.Sc. program has a built-in specialization in the 3rd Semester wherein the students can choose either Human Resource Management or Sales and Marketing streams. It provides opportunities for hospitality postgraduates to enter the hospitality industry in departments like Sale & Marketing and Human Resources as well as becoming Academicians as Faculties in Institutes of Hotel and Tourism Management.
