Our History
IHM Bhopal was initially founded as a Food Craft Institute in 1978 to impart culinary skills and food science. In 1986, it was officially recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, to promote the development of the tourism and hospitality sector in the country.
From a humble beginning with just 40 students, IHM has evolved over 31 years into a comprehensive institute with a robust alumni network, contributing to the hospitality and allied industries globally.
